It was Shidah's and another collegue 2* Birthday..we didn't plan anything..just bought a cake and that's it..due to the hectic day..we have to reschedule the surprise towards the end of the working hours..

One day after work, mumsie said her flowers (specifically ORCHIDS!) are blooming.. and asked me to take photos of her precious..but i only took the rare ones..the commons are already in my photo library.. do enjoy!

It's another new year..new resolution..it's just the same old thing..as for me..just "carpe diem" ..
the new year's eve spent with a nice dinner with the family at my parents house..as midnight approaches we hung around at our unit's balcony to get the best view of KL skylight splashed with colourful fireworks from more than four different location in KL..enjoy the series!

~* The Langkawi Adventure Holiday || 24122007 (3rd Day) *~

It's the final day of the adventure holiday..we checked-out early for the early ferry out to Kuala Perlis..had something to do back home..here's some of picures of the day..
  it's quite sad when it's time to leave something you enjoy..

~* The Langkawi Adventure Holiday || 23122007 (2nd Day) *~

Woke-up very early in the morning with the excited feeling..can't wait for the island hopping trip arranged the day before..hopped in the pick-up to the jetty to catch the boat arranged for us..
The first stop was the legendary Island of the Pregnant Maiden (Pulau Dayang Bunting)..it was believe that barren women who bathe in the lake will be endowed with a child..many have claimed to be successful...the island is even symbolized with the shape of a pregnant woman lying on her back..we spent for about 1 hour there and it was an hour well spent with the breathtaking view and the water activities..monkeys reside the island was easily attracted by plastic bags or anything alike it..so it was a no-no to plastic bags..it surely will attack you..i’m one of its victim!
Next was the eagle feeding session..however the eagle either is to scared with the lines of boats waiting or it’s already full with all the easy food it gets.. they didn’t even fly low to get the food..but some did..they just hovers on top of the boats..dissapointed! 
The final stop was the Beras Basah Island..it was said to be the most beautiful beach in Langkawi..and it was true! ..the water is clear and the sand was super while and super fine..
The afternoon was the free and easy session..me and hubs and nephews and niece went for the cable car ride at Macincang Mountain..while the rest went for shopping..but we did join them for shopping later that evening..
Dinner at the same fishermen village as the day before..but today the food was a bit of a disappointment but with the same waiting time..nevertheless..we do love the cheap price there!

~* The Langkawi Adventure Holiday || 22122007 (1st Day) *~

Travel very early in the morning heading to Kuala Perlis to catch the ferry to Langkawi as were planned months before..stop for subuh prayers and breakfast..arrive at the jetty just in time to catch the 10.30 am ferry..the waiting area were crowded with people..there were some whose still queing for tickets..as i aboard the ferry, i was shocked to find that it is no more free sitting..luckily we got the earliest ticket and we are seated at the front..nearest to our luggages.. i can see that the ferry companies have taken the security of its passenger seriously..some security measures can be seen during the ride to Langkawi..i guess this is caused by the case in Pulau Tioman..
Arrive in Langkawi around 30 minutes to noon..and we have to wait for our cars.. while waiting we have our lunch at "The Finger Licking Good" restaurant as it were the nearest.. then the car arrives..however some of us have to catch the taxi as we have to fetch for another car at the airport..the meeting point was the airport parking area..
The next stop was our hotel..as it is still early, our room are still occupied..we left ur luggages in the hand of the hotel manager to catch for some shopping spree at Kuah..back to square 1 i guess..as expected no picture were taken during the shopping..too busy picking all those imported creamy chocolates selling at low prices 
Then back at the hotel and checking in our room..it was a comfortable room for the rates we paid.. after some freshening-up and a quick rest, we headed to the beach..before that the must-do is splatter as much sunblock as possible..  and we spend the whole afternoon untill sunset at the beach having fun.. and watching other people having fun.. and we arrange for something adventurous for the whole bunch the next morning! can't wait!
Dinner at a small but popular fishermen's village restaurant on my big bro!..we have to wait for almost 2 hours for our food..but it is worth the wait!

It's raining that day..so it was spent in the house after the morning eid prayer..nothing to do..just fooling around with the nephews and nieces..and presenting the latest arrival (not so new..but kinda) Afikah Kairah among Mr. Husband's nieces collection..thank god there is no 'duit raya' giving this eid..
