A nigh out with the in-laws..my first dining out in Muar..the food was ok..but i love the night stroll at the park beside Muar river and near the famous Jamek Mosque..the ever so famous Muar bridge was nicely lit with colourful lights..

An evening in Pantai Klebang, Melaka and the surrounding area..a short road trip with my SIL, MIL and AIL.. just to take a stroll and air somewhere else other than home..

the day with the lots of counting on kilometres..its a long way from Penang to Melaka..started out the day breakfast at the hotel..and walking around the hotel's compound..checked out at noon and catch up the ferry to the mainland..then made our way to Mlaka..it was a smooth flowing traffic until Behrang..it was a super creepy and long crawl..supposed to be an accident but on the other side of the road..as we reach the supposed to be qaccident sign..nothing were to be found..it took us around 11 hours to reach Melaka from Penang..no surprise there..

the day when we went for our annual pilgrimage to the island of pearl..penang island.. went there to get our usual nasi kandar at penang road and then off to batu ferringhi..this time around we stayed at a hotel nearby the much awaited batu feringghi night market..  almost to 6 we went out to get the pasembor at gurney drive..its been awhile since we get to eat there..since everytime arriving at gurney drive..it's either raining or jam packed with people..we were lucky this time as there were no people..maybe they still visit families and friends..the pasembor & asam laksa air itam was super delicious..i hardly remember the best asam laksa i had..but this one was heavenly..before the day ends we manage to shop (can i say bargain) at the batu ferringhi night market..that night i went to bed with a happy stomach & happy feet..

its the 2nd day..and it was spent with visiting families from both mom's and dad's side..ouhh..both of them came from the same town..so so lucky.. but it was raining the whole day..and later in the afternoon the big bro & co joined us at my granny's..and we got the chance to get our annual cendo (the famous cendol in taiping)l & pasembor..
that night we made to our bbq-cum-open-house-cum-eid-get-together on 2nd nite of eid annually..had a blast!

start the day very early in the morning to prepare our special eid dish..which is chicken rice.. then the breakfast with chicky rice and some lemang & rendang..then to the eid prayers..while i'm updating this..we are waiting to start our journey to my granny house in Taiping..for now..these are the only pictures of my eid-fitri this year..

~* A Pangkor Training Holiday || Day 3 (10092007)*~

so..it's the final day of hell    ..nahh..just kidding..this training was really fun..we were quite sad to leave the hotel..before we go..we had some few classroom session and an outdoor sesion where we have to build a tower of pvc pipes..it sure was hard..with the wind and everything..our tower collapsed several times..  ..in the end we manage to break the record made by goernments' group of 9 pipes (according to the fasilitators)..we made it to 10 for several seconds before it collapsed for the final time..we did it!! after that we went back to the classroom to get the preview of our silly pictures during the training..very funny..hope to get the colection soon to share it here..
then we made our way to the jetty to catch the ferry to mainland..all through the ferry ride i stayed out in the open air area to take pictures of the beautiful sight..do enjoy ya!

~* A Pangkor Training Holiday || Day 2 (09092007)*~

The second day was rather a tough one..started out with the morning Malaysia session..which is the stretching out session..then toned down to some interesting and fun classes session..then the time came..the survival session..i mean to show how tough are you during rough time..eheheh..the test is to kayak around the pangkor island (not all around.. i think it's between 2 - 3 km) in the hot burning sun (its 2 p.m! )..the catch is..whoever get to the end of the line with the kayak..gets to snorkell at an island called Giam..the fishes are suppose to be beautiful there..so the whole time on the kayak..me imagining beautiful fishes and ice cold water and even a shower..ahahhaha..
guess i made it! this session test me a lot! i faced my greatest fear..drown
and the fishes during the snorkelling session was out of this world..so..so.beautiful and i even fed them with my own hands! Subhanallah..
That night..we had a BBQ dinner and Karaoke session..me opted for early night..
